Hello Everyone,

My name is Jeff McNeely, and I’m a lifelong resident of Iredell County. After graduating West Iredell High School, I went to North Carolina State University and received a B.S. in Agricultural Economics. Upon graduating college, I returned to Iredell county to manage my family’s business, G & M Milling Co. I have always been involved with my community, either through my church or civic organizations. I’m an Elder at New Sterling ARP Church and an officer in Fourth Creek Rotary. I am a proud Christian who has been saved by the blood of Jesus and wants to honor him as I serve Iredell County.

I started my path in politics by being appointed to the Iredell County Planning Board. After serving on it for 4 years, I decided to run for County Commissioner. Unfortunately, I missed winning the election that year by a close vote. After serving on the planning board for another 12 years, three as Chairman, I ran again for County Commissioner again in 2016 and won a four year term. In 2019, I was appointed to the North Carolina House of Representatives to replace Rena Turner. In 2020, I was elected by the public to represent the 84th district. I am a proven Conservative with over 4,000 recorded votes during my 24 years of experience serving Iredell County. It has been an honor to serve you and this great state. 

My Accomplishments

Over the last two sessions, I negotiated $143 million for Iredell County for much needed infrastructure improvements and support of non-profit initiatives.

I was also involved in the legislative victories for the NC House Republicans in 2023. We have been able to accomplish some great things during our time in session.

I am currently serving on the following NCGOP committees:
